I have heard a lot of talk about how Google Reader will be non-functional soon although I don't know what the original source of this information is. Just to be safe, however, feel free to follow Chapter Twenty through Bloglovin'. A button on the sidebar should take you there, or just click here!

Reading:
The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien. I have always enjoyed the movies so I thought it would be fun to read the books too!

Writing: This post. I'm also hoping to get started on a few other posts too so that this poor little blog doesn't remain dormant for another week.

Listening:  The windows are open so I'm listening to a lot of birds who call our back porch their home. I also have David Nevue on Spotify.

Thinking: about how exactly to complete all my errands today.

Smelling: I can distinguish three: corn-beef and cabbage in the crockpot, coffee, and the breeze from outside.  All three smell great individually, but all together..... I'm not too sure.

Wishing: That weekends had an extra day!

Hoping: to make it to my first spinning class tomorrow morning. I need to muster up some will power in the early mornings!

Wearing: Clothing. Nothing remarkable. :)

Loving:  coffee, sleep, sunshine, music, wind-chimes, phone conversations with far-away friends, and the fact that I have a coffee date scheduled with a good friend tomorrow! Yay!

Wanting: my hair to magically style itself.

Needing: a massage! My neck has been really stiff recently. :-/

Feeling: content.

Linking up with Lauren today!

  1. This is the perfect day for cornbeef and cabbage! Every St. Paddy's Day, my husband and his friend get together to cook a batch, but this year his friend has to work, so the cornbeef has to wait until next week. Happy Sunday! :)

    1. I hope you DO get to have some cornbeef and cabbage because I really enjoyed it! That seems like a fun tradition! My family changed our routine up this year and we ate a big dinner durning the lunch hour. Thankfully this schedule has allowed me to drink a lot of water this afternoon and evening. That stuff is salty!! :)

    1. Thanks Kate! I'm trying to figure out how to bribe a family member into giving me a massage this evening.... we'll see how it works out. I hope you are also able to rest up for the busy couple weeks you have ahead of you!

  3. Amen on the massage- I am sitting hunched over because my back is suddenly in pain- too much time spent blogging lately I suppose :-)

    1. I'm noticing that the human body doesn't like sitting in an office chair all day! I hope we're both able to get at least a little bit of relief from the achy-ness this week. And thank you for the link to your sunday currently post!

  4. Just started following you! Love your blog so far! I tried reading The Hobbit before the movie came out, but I struggled to get into it (after I tried to read it in high school). My husband loved the books, so enjoy! Can't wait to read more!

    1. Thank you so much Jeannette! I am so glad you have liked my blog so far! :-) I haven't even attempted The Hobbit yet. I'll have to see how the LOTR goes before I jump into that one. I did enjoy the movie though!

  5. Yeah, those three smells don't seem like they would blend well together! I really wanted to make corned beef and cabbage today, but I didn't have a brisket, so it will have to wait for another time.

Hope you have a good week!

    1. They definitely did not go well together. Thankfully, though, the windows were open (hence the breeze) so the scent didn't linger. It was quite delicious though and therefore, worth it! :) I hope you have a great week too!

  7. Love Lord of the Rings!! It is definitely a favorite =) I also can't wait to be able to keep the windows open all day...I'm opening them up for short periods of time...there is still so much snow here, but I am so ready for Spring to make an appearance =)

    Happy Monday!!

    1. I am only on the third chapter but I've already learned so much history that the movie left out! (For instance, I had no idea Frodo was around fifty years old when he left the Shire. He looks twelve in the movie.)
I have been loving the feeling of Springtime here. I actually left my window open over-night and it was AMAZING to wake up to birds chirping. I hope Springtime shows up in your area soon!

    1. Would that be so nice!? The only thing is that then we'd be wishing for four-day weekends....
